This significantly minimizes casting defects like gas holes and slag inclusions.
The product, specified as a rectangle with a length of 200mm, width of 100mm, thickness of 22mm, and a pore density of 20 PPI, is suitable for ductile iron, gray iron, and other casting processes. It withstands high temperatures up to 1550℃, while maintaining excellent structural stability and thermal shock resistance.

Precise Dimensions and Strength
Utilizing a pre-cut and then coating process, where the foam carrier is first precisely cut to the required customer dimensions before the slurry coating and sintering. This fundamental process ensures excellent dimensional consistency for each filter, preventing installation mismatches or metal leakage. Dimensional tolerances are strictly controlled within ±0.8mm for diameter and ±1.0mm for thickness, ensuring a perfect fit in the gating system. The room temperature compressive strength is ≥1.0MPa, meeting the demands of automated foundry production lines.

Application & Usage Guidelines
Suitable Processes
Sand casting, lost foam casting, vertical gating systems.
Installation Location
Pouring cup, bottom of the sprue, or runner. Ensure the filter fits snugly within the gating channel.
Usage Recommendations
Secure the filter properly in the mold. Avoid direct impact of the metal stream onto the filter (recommended drop height <320mm). The pouring temperature should not exceed 1550°C.
