Lifespan And Cleaning Of Ceramic Filters
Mar 06, 2026
Ceramic filter elements possess unique properties such as acid and alkali resistance, high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, lightweight, high porosity, good cleanliness, and high filtration accuracy, meeting the needs of industries such as food, beverage, beer, liquor, chemical production, and pharmaceuticals. Lifespan and Cleaning: A ceramic filter element typically lasts 30 to 50 brushing cycles. The interior of the ceramic filter element is uniformly coated with silver ions and antibacterial active ingredients. It can be widely used for the purification and disinfection of drinking water and mineral water, as well as the preparation of sterile water, disinfected water, high-purity water, and water for the chemical, pharmaceutical, and electronic industries. While a typical filter element can be used for 10-12 months, a ceramic filter element can last 3-5 years or even longer. Ceramic filter elements can be repeatedly cleaned and are easy to replace. With the outlet facing upwards, scrub the surface of the filter element with mesh sandpaper under running tap water to remove contaminants and expose a fresh surface, then rinse it off. It has a long lifespan and is easy to clean and regenerate. It can be brushed, sanded, rinsed with water, or backwashed.
