The DINGTAI Alumina Ceramic Filter is a cornerstone of efficient foundry operations. This robust filter utilizes a sintered alumina ceramic foam matrix to provide consistent, high-efficiency filtration. By capturing impurities, it promotes laminar flow, reduces turbulence, and minimizes oxide formation during pouring. This directly translates to higher yield, lower scrap rates, and improved profitability for your aluminum casting production.
Technical Details & Customization
Material & Properties: Composed of high-grade Alumina (Al2O3), it exhibits excellent thermal shock resistance and chemical stability in molten aluminum. Key parameters include porosity of 80-90% and a service temperature limit of 1200°C.
Size Flexibility: Beyond our standard square sizes (e.g., 305mm, 381mm, 432mm squares), we offer full customization. You can order circular filters or specify unique dimensions. The minimum customizable dimension starts at 30mm with a variety of thickness options: 10, 20, 22, 25, 30, 40, or 50mm.
Performance Data: The DT-1 series filter provides a compressive strength of ≥0.8 MPa. Select the appropriate PPI (10-70) and size to achieve your desired filtration efficiency and metal throughput (e.g., 147-280 kg/min for 381x381x50mm).
Ideal For
Perfect for sand casting, permanent mold casting, and low-pressure die casting of aluminum components. It is widely used in manufacturing automotive parts (engine blocks, wheels), hydraulic components, and architectural fittings.
